Record a completed basketball game result so standings and public views can stay current.

This tutorial records the result of one completed game.

Prerequisites

  • A league schedule exists.
  • The game has been played.
  • You have the final score from the official record.
  • Organization management is available for game updates.

Open the game actions menu and choose Enter result.

Save the final score and mark this game as completed.

Status will be saved as completed for this result update.

After save

The game becomes completed after the result is saved.

Box score editing stays in the dedicated completed-game box-score route.

Open the schedule list

Go to the league schedule area and find the scheduled game.

Open result entry

Open the game actions and choose Enter result. LeagueFlow opens the Result entry modal.

Confirm the matchup

Check the modal title, such as River City vs Metro North, before entering scores.

Enter both scores

Enter the home team score and away team score. Both scores are required and cannot be negative.

Save the result

Select Save result. LeagueFlow saves the game status as completed for this result update.

Expected result: the game is completed with its final score saved. Box score editing remains in the dedicated completed-game box-score route.
