Generate a Round-Robin Schedule

Use the round-robin generator to create structured phase matchups from teams, dates, venues, and scheduling rules.

Use the round-robin generator when teams should play a broad set of opponents in one phase.

Before you generate

  • Select a Round robin working phase in the scheduling hub.
  • Confirm the teams that should play in the phase.
  • Confirm at least one venue exists.
  • Decide the date range, weekdays, first game time, games per date, duration, interval, rest days, and visibility.

If the Round robin method is missing, open Manage schedule phases and check that the phase type is Round robin.

Set the phase, template, date range, days of the week, start time, venue, format, games per date, visibility, first game number, interval, rest days, and duration. Preview the schedule before creating games.

For four teams in a single round robin, the preview generates six games across three rounds. A double round robin creates the reverse fixtures too.

After previewing

Review the generated table before creating games. Use Swap slot when two preview games need to exchange date, time, venue, or duration.

Keep generated games as Draft until the schedule has been reviewed.
