Add Players
Add roster members and understand current roster lifecycle rules.
1 min read
Players have shared profiles. Jersey number, position, roster status, and team-season photo overrides live on the team roster membership.
Before you start
- Create the team first.
- Player and roster work allows organization Owner, Admin, or Staff access.
- Scoped team managers can manage roster work when league registration grants team-module access.
Add players
Open the team roster
Start from the team detail page inside the league.
Choose a roster path
Owners can create a new player, reuse an existing player, or import from a previous team where access allows it.
Enter shared profile details
Shared player details stay with the player across accessible roster memberships.
Enter roster details
Add roster-specific fields such as jersey number, position, status, and optional team-season photo override.
Roster lifecycle rules
- Upcoming leagues: removing a player deletes the roster membership, and transfer moves the player cleanly.
- Ongoing leagues: removing or transferring keeps the old membership as inactive for history.
- Completed leagues: roster removal and transfer are blocked.
